Around Town

Many of you are coming to Boston from outside of the area. There are so many things we want to share with you. If you have some free time, we recommend the following:

Boston Duck Tours A great way to see the city! Tours leave from the Museum of Science, located around the corner from the Royal Sonesta. A “must do” if you are coming for the whole weekend!

Kayaking on the Charles (for the more adventurous!) You can rent a kayak by the hour in nearby Brighton, MA, right down the street from the Sonesta. Todd and Sue love to do this when the weather is nice! It’s a great way to see the city skyline. The hotel will be able to give you directions to get to the launch point.

Shopping on Newbury Street We love Newbury St! Great dining, great shopping, great people watching! The Sonesta provides shuttle service to and from the Newbury St/Copley Square shopping area.

A stroll down Hanover St in the North End for a great meal! The Sonesta shuttles run to nearby Faneuil Hall (another great shopping/eating/people watching destination). From Faneuil Hall, Hanover St is a short walk.
